Child Safety Standards

Dewangan Sangi Sathi (Dewangan Matrimony) — Android & iOS

Last updated: July 2, 2026

1. Our Commitment

Dewangan Sangi Sathi has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Our platform is a matrimony service for adults seeking marriage within the Dewangan (Koshta) community. We do not permit minors on our platform under any circumstances.

2. Age Requirement

All users must be 18 years of age or older to register, create a profile, or use any feature of Dewangan Sangi Sathi. During registration we collect date of birth and verify age. Accounts that appear to belong to minors are immediately suspended pending review and permanently removed if age cannot be verified as 18+.

3. Prevention Practices

  • Phone OTP verification — every account is tied to a verified mobile number before the profile goes live.
  • Manual profile review — our Raipur-based team reviews profiles for authenticity, appropriate matrimonial intent, and compliance with community guidelines before approval.
  • Photo and content moderation — profile images and bios are screened. Content depicting minors, sexual content involving minors, or solicitation of minors is prohibited and removed immediately.
  • In-app reporting — users can report any profile or message that raises child safety concerns directly within the app using the Report button on any profile or chat.
  • Restricted messaging — contact details are not shown publicly; communication occurs through moderated in-app channels.

4. Reporting Child Safety Concerns

If you encounter content or behaviour that may involve child sexual abuse or exploitation on Dewangan Sangi Sathi:

  1. In the app: tap Report on the profile or message and select the appropriate reason. Our team reviews all reports within 24 hours.
  2. By email: contact our designated child safety point of contact at yashwantdewangan1234@gmail.com. Include the username or profile link and a description of the concern.
  3. Emergency: if a child is in immediate danger, contact local law enforcement or dial 112 (India emergency) or 1098 (Childline India).

5. Response & Removal

When we receive a child safety report we:

  • Immediately suspend the reported account and preserve relevant evidence.
  • Remove any CSAM or CSAE-related content from our servers.
  • Conduct an internal investigation within 24–48 hours.
  • Permanently ban offenders and block associated devices and phone numbers.
  • Report confirmed CSAM to the appropriate authorities as required by law (see Section 6).

6. Legal Compliance & Authority Reporting

Dewangan Sangi Sathi complies with all applicable child protection laws in India, including:

  • Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO), 2012
  • Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021
  • Indian Penal Code provisions relating to offences against children
